Background

Nemo Films is Graham Yost's production company.

(September 29, 2002-May 10, 2019)

Nemo Films.jpg

Nickname: "Finding Nemo on the Moon"

Logo: We see a camera lens zooming in on the surface of the moon, and when the zooming in stops, we see the stacked text "NEMO FILMS" written on the surfaces of one of the moon's craters.

Variants:

  • On The Americans, Justified and Sneaky Pete, the logo is still and appears to have a grainy effect over it. That is most likely because the logo was not shot on the last frame of the Boomtown pilot variant.
  • On Raines and some episodes of Boomtown, the camera doesn't stop zooming when the logo's text appears.

FX/SFX: The zooming in of the camera lens on the logo. Likely produced with practical effects.

Music/Sounds: 4 beeps are heard as the camera lens zooms in on the logo.

Music/Sounds Variant: Starting on September 30, 2002, the beeps are lower pitched.

Availability: Uncommon. Seen on the TV shows Boomtown, Raines, Justified, Sneaky Pete, and The Americans.

Editor's Note: None.
