Canal 5 Rosario

1st Logo (1980-1987)

Canal 5 Rosario (1980)

Nicknames: "5-Die Dots", "The Rising Dots"

Logo: On a black background, a striped yellow circle appears cutoff on the bottom, before rising upwards and glowing. The pattern also seems to move with it. The circle then begins to zoom out as 4 other circles appear from behind it, also striped and with their own rotating 4-pointed star glow. The colors are blue for the top left, red for the top right, orange for the bottom left, and green for the bottom right. The dots then zoom out and flip over, revealing sides without stripes and they reconfigure into a shape similar to the 5 dots on a die. A yellow star wipes in the text "LT 84 TV CANAL 5" from left to right, and then "ROSARIO" from right to left. The text is colored white/yellow.

FX/SFX: The dot rising and the other dots spreading out, the flipping and revealing of the text. It appears to be made with Scanimation.

Music/Sounds: A rising trumpet theme, ending with a 3-note finish with the last note drawn out.

2nd Logo (1987-1989)

Canal 5 Rosario (1987)

Logo: On a black background, a checkerboard walkway is seen, stretching into the darkness with a white glow and rainbow hues. A white rectangular panel flies towards the screen, flashing once as a red grid walkway emerges from the darkness. As it slowly comes towards the screen, the background then fades to a sky background with cartoony clouds and the screen zooms out and flips over to a darker side. 5 yellow rings fly in and stack up, before spreading out and flipping up to reveal segmented circles arranged like the previous logo. They fade out and the panel zooms and flips away, only to zooms back in and fly away, only to reveal a translucent, upside down version of the result in the beginning. As such, the station info then rotates in a ring as the logo flies in. When they disappear, the repeaters are listed.
