Logo: We see an eagle holding a lightning bolt on its beak. On the eagle is a shield. Inside, a star zooms in, with the "ABC" text following behind.

ABC Academy Awards" ID

Nickname: "Oscars on ABC"

Logo: A still Image of an Oscar award which is shining, on a red background. Next to the Oscar award is "Academy Awards" in white, and underneath it is the ABC logo at the time.

FX/SFX: None, unless you count the fade-out.

Music/Sounds: A male announcer saying "Marcus Welby MD and The Dick Cavett Show will not be seen tonight so, that we may bring you live color coverage of the 42nd Annual Awards of the 'Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences"
