 Standard Logos Logo Variations 

Marvel Entertainment

Hulk (2003)
The background is green and the comic book panels shown all display the Hulk. At the end, the logo zooms out and is revealed to be inside a small teardrop on a black background.


The Punisher (2004)
The background turns black and the logo is shot at.


Fantastic Four (2005)
The background is blue and the comic panels show snippets of the Fantastic Four's various adventures.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007)
Exactly the same as the Fantastic Four variant, only this time the letters turn clear so we can see outer space behind them, and the logo zooms out to fully reveal outer space.

Ghost Rider (2007)
The flipping comic panels show Ghost Rider in action, and at the end of the logo, the background fades to black and the letters are set ablaze, and appear to be made of twisted metal. Spikes shoot out of the top of the letters.

The logo starts at 0:35

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)
The logo is in black & white and takes place in the future. Seen on the video game of the same name.


Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)
The "IN ASSOCIATION WITH" variant of the 2002 logo gets glitched out. This was made by Devastudios.

Thor (2011)
The 2002 logo fades out to the night sky.

The Avengers (2012)
When the logo is finished, it dissolves into the blue energy from the Tesseract.


Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 (2017)
Loki's clip is replaced with Doctor Strange from the 2016 namesake movie.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
The Hulk's clip is replaced with Spider-Man from Captain America: Civil War, and the fanfare is replaced by an orchestral mix of the original 1967 animated series theme, composed by Michael Giacchinno.


Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
Once the logo finishes, it is seen burning red as flames appear below the logo. The camera then pans down into the opening scene.

Black Panther (2018)

  • Original Release: War Machine's clip from Captain America: Civil War is replaced with Valkyrja from Thor: Ragnarok.
  • Chadwick Boseman's death (2020): On November 29, 2020 (what would have been Chadwick Boseman's 44th birthday), the logo was altered on Disney+, with the regular montage of heroes replaced with images and videos of Chadwick Boseman. The background has been changed to a dark purple gradient. This was also posted by Marvel's Twitter page in its open matte 16:9 format.

Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Footage for Iron Man from Irom Man 2 is replaced with Okoye from Black Panther.

Captain Marvel (2019)
Images of Marvel superheroes are replaced with those of the late Stan Lee. Clips of Marvel movies are all also replaced with clips of Lee's various appearances, either from his cameo appearances in Marvel movies or from publicity footage. After the logo finishes, the background fades to black, the logo then fades away two seconds later, and a message appears saying "THANK YOU STAN". This variant was made as a tribute to Lee, who died several months prior to the film's release.

Avengers: Endgame (2019)
The images of the heroes that were snapped by the villain Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War are excluded. Some footage displayed in the logo is also changed to correspond with the events of Avengers: Infinity War. At the end, the gradient red background fades to black, like the previous two variants, and the fanfare is replaced by the song "Dear Mr. Fantasy" by the English rock band Traffic. Then, the logo cuts to the movie's second scene.

Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

Same as the Spider-Man: Homecoming variant, but footage for Falcon from Captain America: The Winter Soldier has been replaced by Captain Marvel from from the 2019 namesake movie and the fanfare is replaced by the song "I Will Always Love You" by the late American singer and actress Whitney Houston.

WandaVision (2021)

  • Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience: The logo plays as normal in it's post-Endgame updated form, though at the end the logo turns black and white and 2D as the aspect ratio shifts to from 21:9 to 4:3. At the same time the sound switched from stereo/surround to an aged mono sound reminiscent of vintage TV recordings.

  • Previously On: The background turns a bright purple at the end, then the logo dissolves in a burst of magic reminiscent of that used by the series' antagonist Agatha Harkness

Loki (2021)
As the logo finishes its animation, the logo turns green, the footage turns yellow, and the background becomes black.
