1st Logo (1959-196?)

Nickname: "The Three Segments"

Logo: Over a leather-like background, the logo starts zooming at us. The letters "u.a.a." zoom up, with the right vertical segments of the letters tinted with a darker color. Behind the lettering, we see the words "UNITED ARTISTS ASSOCIATED, INC.".

Trivia: The design has some kind of reminiscence from the A.A.P. logos used on cartoons.

FX/SFX: The logo zooming in on the background.

Music/Sounds: The initial opening theme.

Availability: Extinct. The capture on the right is from an advertising sales reel by the company.

Editor's Note: None.
